Bring the splendour of a traditional Christmas parade into your home with The Scarlet Drummer, an impressive handmade and hand-painted wooden nutcracker finished in rich red and antique gold.

Standing approximately 36cm tall, this distinguished drummer wears a vivid scarlet uniform decorated with intricate gold braiding, ornate fastenings and fringed gold epaulettes. His tall red hat is embellished with painted gold motifs, metallic trim and a decorative gold chain.

Soft white hair, a flowing beard and a traditional curled black moustache complete his classic nutcracker appearance. He carries a coordinating red and gold drum with matching gold drumsticks, while tall black boots featuring delicate gold motifs add contrast to the vibrant uniform.

The figure stands on a substantial drum-shaped plinth decorated in red and gold, giving the ornament an elevated silhouette and excellent presence on a mantelpiece, sideboard, console table, shelf or Christmas window display.
